Obituary of Jean Wolverton

Jean T. Wolverton, 76, of Washington, NJ, died Thursday, January 29, 2009 at home. She was born in Port Murray, NJ, a daughter of the late Romolo and the late Lena Damelio Ranelli. She was a Tool Crib Asst. employed by Hoffman LaRoche, Belvidere, NJ from 1978 until her retirement in 1992. She enjoyed cats and watching and feeding the local birds, as well as gardening flowers and vegetables. Jean was the wife of William Wolverton of Washington, NJ Survivors:Along with her husband, Jean is survived by a daughter, Teresa Cappello and her husband Ron of Port Murray, NJ; a son, William M. Wolverton and his wife Karen of Washington, NJ; two sisters, Mary Ruckman of Washington Township, NJ, Carolyn Ranelli of Washington Township, NJ; a brother, Ray Ranelli of CT and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, two brothers, Sam and Frank Ranelli died earlier. Services: Friends can visit the family on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm or 7:00 – 9:00 pm at DeVoe Funeral Services, Inc., 136 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Hampton, NJ on Monday at 9:30 am. Interment will be follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Washington, NJ.
