Tributes: Tribute from: Maria Franchino I would like to express my deepest sympathy for a very special guy. I live in Toms River, and my mom and I met Tom around 14 years ago. Whenever we needed something done around the house, all we had to do was call Tom, and he'd be there. He came to my mom's wake last June, and I saw him only a couple of more times after that. I hadn't heard from Tom for awhile, so just last week I called him on his cell phone, and left a message. I knew he wasn't feeling that well, and to give me a call if he got a chance. I didn't know he had cancer. He was the nicest man, and a real gentlemen, and I will miss him. I know he is with the Lord now. God bless you Tom.
