Although he lived to a ripe old age, I know from my own father's death at 89 that the loss of a parent, no matter the age, leaves a painful gap in one's life. I hope time helps ease that pain. My thoughts are with you and your family. Flo Keyes Tribute from: Ron McCloskey Corky, Because of Band Boosters Joy had more contact with your parents than I did but I will always remember your Dad as a very easy man to talk to with a good sense of humor. You are a lucky guy to have had such a great set of parents. Unfortunately nothing lasts forever but I'm sure you will always have great memories. Corky, To you and your family my deepest sympathy....may you remember all the good times...Nancy Stengel(Yapaolo) Tribute from: Sharon Kay Horvath Corky, My sympathies are with you and you family at this very sad time. Your dad will continue to live in your heart and in your memories. You were fortunate to have your dad for so long. May he rest in peace now, and may you find comfort in the prayers and thoughts of those around you. God Bless! Sharon Kay Tribute from: carol southerland Mr. Staats was a fine gentleman. I knew him from Warren County ARTS. He was sucessful as a sign painter but a few years ago took up fine art painting again and did lovely water colors and oil landscapes and was receiving awards for his work. May his family find comfort in good memories and may God uphold you through this time.
