Obituary of Stanley Oleniacz

Stanley J Oleniacz 78 of Forks Township PA formerly of Glen Gardner NJ died June 10th in St Lukes at Fountain Hill PA Born: He was born in Somerville NJ February 23, 1935, the son of the late Stanley A. and Helen Jablonski Oleniacz Personal: Stanley worked with Prudential and had offices in Glen Gardner and Washington NJ. He was an insurance salesman and won the Top Sales award with Prudential where he was also an accountant. Before his career with Prudential, he worked for Baker Chemical in Phillipsburg and was the fomer President of the Union. Memberships: He served in the US Navy from 1954 -1958. He attended and graduated from Delaware College and Churchmans Business School. Stanley was former Mayor of Glen Gardner from 1972-1983. He served on the Board of Chosen Freeholders and ran for the Senate twice. He belonged to the VFW in Glen Gardner and Nazareth PA and a member of the Safety First Fire Co Social Club. An Avid Harley Enthusist he traveled all over the US and Canada with his wife Murphy. He also traveled all over the world. A train enthuisit, he loved both real and collecting O gauge and HO model trains. Survivors: Surviving Stanley are his wife Murphy, 3 daughters Nora, Laurie and Vicki, 4 sons Michael and his wife Debbie, Joseph, Kenneth and his wife Terry and James, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Services: Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 5PM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ 07882. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3:30 until 7PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
