Obituary of Timothy Earl Hanlein

Timothy Earl Hanlein, 64, of Columbia, NJ, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 17, 2025.
Born on December 24, 1960, at Pocono Medical Center, Tim was the beloved son of Elmer and Shirley (née Young) Hanlein. A lifelong truck driver, Tim began his career alongside his father at F & M Trucking, proudly continuing a family tradition of hard work and dedication.
Tim was a passionate Buffalo Bills fan and found joy in the simple pleasures of life—gardening, playing horseshoes, and spending time with family. He will be forever remembered for his warm heart, generous spirit, and the quiet kindness he shared with everyone around him.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie, and her children, Kevin Kelson and Aleesha Hengest. He is also survived by his siblings: Betty-Lou Boyle, Bonnie Blyskol, Pam Federico, Connie Billings, and his brother, Elmer Hanlein III, along with many cherished nieces and nephews. Tim was predeceased by his sister, Linda Longyhorn.
A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at the family home at 4 Valley Street Columbia, New Jersey on June 21 at 1PM all are welcomed to come celebrate Timothy's life and are invited to bring a covered dish to share.
Arrangements are under the care of Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Washington, NJ.
Tim’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
