Atindra Nath Chaturvedi

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Atindra Nath Chaturvedi, who passed away on August 5, 2026, after collapsing while playing tennis.

Born on August 11, 1953, in Allahabad, India, Atindra was the eldest son of the late Triloki Nath (T.N.) Chaturvedi and Prakashvati Chaturvedi. He attended St. George's School in Mussoorie, St. Xavier's in Jaipur and Delhi, and later earned a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from BITS Pilani and an MBA from the University of Delhi.

Atindra began his career with the Tata Group in India before holding positions with Citibank, Thomas' Bagels, and Novartis, retiring in 2012. In 1992, he and his family made their home in Bloomsbury, New Jersey, where they lived for more than 30 years.

He enjoyed many interests throughout his life, including tennis, photography, model aircraft, bridge, technology, reading, and classic rock music. He will be remembered for his intelligence, kindness, curiosity, and love of learning.

Atindra is survived by his beloved wife, Pravesh Chaturvedi; his daughter, Priyanka Chaturvedi; his brothers, Avanindra Chaturvedi and Atulindra Chaturvedi; his sister, Anuradha Chaturvedi; and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Atindra on Saturday, August 11, at 12:00 p.m. at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, 95 Mount Airy Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920.
