Obituary of Jay Caffiero

Jay L. Caffiero, 49, of Asbury, NJ, died suddenly Saturday, November 1, 2008. Jay was born in East Orange, NJ, the son of Joseph W. and Patricia (Reed) Caffiero. Jay was a lifelong resident of New Jersey, and owner/operator of Jay Caffiero Construction for the past 24 years. He was an outdoorsman enjoying golfing, fishing and gardening. He was an avid Jets fan. Jay loved to spend time with his family especially his two children. Survivors: Jay is survived by his beloved wife of 12 years, Debbie (Curtis) Caffiero; his seven year old twins, Patrick and Rosemarie; his doting parents, Pat and Joe Caffiero of Piscataway; his mother and father-in-law, Donna and Jim Curtis; his brother-in-law, John Curtis and his wife Susan; his sister-in-law, Dawn Caccavelli and her husband Ozzie; one niece, Kassandra Curtis; two nephews, Matthew Curtis and Anthony Caccavelli; an aunt, Marie Reed of AZ; and four cousins all of Arizona, Kevin Marshall, Marybeth Gareis, Shari Rowe, Beverly Marshall. Services: Friends may call Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc., 136 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 5:00 pm at the funeral home. A private cremation will be in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
