Obituary of Ruth Sperling

Ruth Ann Sperling, 65 of Lopatcong Township NJ died Saturday December 27, in her home. She was born in Port Colden NJ on August 10, 1943. She was the daughter of the late George and Olive Latourette Black. She was a parts room manager for the Graham Packaging Co (formerly Imco) in Belvidere NJ. Ruth was a 1961 graduate of Belvidere High School. She was Past President and Secretary of her local Union #1598 She loved her family and her trips to Wildwood NJ. Her husband Russell preceded her in death 2 months ago. Survivors: he is survived by her son Michael Molinari and Trudy of Harmony Twp NJ, a daughter Bonnie LaBarre and her husband Rex of Harmony Twp. NJ. 4 brothers Paul and his wife Gloria of Washington Twp NJ, Donald and his wife Kim of Pendant Pass Texas, Charles and his wife Linda of Belvidere NJ and Lester and his companion Darlene of Phillipsburg NJ, sisters Janet Palmer and her companion Billy of White Haven PA, and Shirley Weaver and her husband John of Washington NJ. 3 granddaughters, Monica Brown and her husband Richard , Jennifer Gregory and her husband David and Rexanne LaBarre, and a great granddaughter Kayla Brown. A brother George preceded her in death. Services: The viewing will be Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ. Graveside Services will be Wednesday at 11AM. in the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton NJ Memorials: The family requests donations be made to the funeral home in care of the family. I don’t remember a time when I visited New Jersey as an adult that you didn’t make it a point to come to Dads to visit with me. I guess during our visits that Union thing rubbed off on me.
