Obituary of Marion Blanche

Marion Rose Blanche, 75 of Washington, NJ died Saturday, December 20, 2008 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease, in the Warren Haven Nursing Home, Oxford, NJ. Marion was born December 4, 1933 in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late John and the late Mary (Poretta) Porrello. She graduated from Easton High School, class of 1951. She was an Executive Secretary, employed by USR Optnix for many years before retiring in 1995. Marion was married to her beloved husband, Frank, for 49 years before his death in 2004. They loved traveling all over the world with their family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and loved entertaining. Her family was her life. Survivors:Marion is survived by three daughters, Donna Wester and her husband Al of Hilton Head Island, SC, formerly of Washington, Lisa Moran and her husband Jeff of Washington, NJ, Susan Pajunas and her husband Michael of Hampton, NJ; a son: Frank Blanche and his wife Jodi of Belvidere, NJ; two sisters, Grace Principato of Easton, PA and Joanne Long of Hyde Park, NY; nine grandchildren, Ashley, Chelsea & Tyler Wester; Francesca & Montana Moran; Dillon, Mason, Clayton & Addison Pajunas In addition to her parents and her husband, Frank, her brother-in-law, Jerry Blanche died earlier. Services: Friends may call Friday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc., 136 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Washington, 200 Carlton Ave, Washington. Interment will follow in St Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Washington.
