Tributes: Tribute from: Octavia Sallie Hicks I am so sorry for your loss. I only knew Donna briefly, she will be missed by many. May God bless your family, wrap you in his arms and comfort you. Octavia Sallie Hicks Tribute from: Debbie Godown I am so sorry to hear about your mom and my dearest friend. We all had the greatest of times together - whether they were happy or sad. We always made the best of things. There are so many things I can remember but I think the most horrible but probably one of the most memorable was when we took the Girl Scouts to Beach Jam (Wildwood)in May (many moons ago). It was so bitter cold and here we are(two stupid women) on a dark Friday night helping to put up tents in the most cold & blustery weather. We said we were never going to do that again. And where were we next May - back again. How stupid we were but so so much fun we had together. Goodbye my dear friend - you will definitely be missed. Tribute from: Cora Leidy, Bev & Russ Bowers We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We are thinking of you all in this difficult time. Sincerely, Cora Leidy & Bev & Russ Bowers. Tribute from: Gerri L. Calvin There will always be a void in my heart where your mother belongs. She was so down to earth with her honesty, love of life, and was so very proud of BreeAnn and Krista. I miss her dearly. Please know I am always available to you to laugh and cry. Oh my, there are losses in life we will never understand. Yet, your mother lit up so many lives! God bless you all. I was so sorry to read of Donnas' passing. We were friends at Foster Wheeler and used to have lunch together every day. Sadly, the last time I saw her was right after another of our lunch mates had passed away. She was always talking about her wonderful family, and how much fun she had with the Girl Scouts. She was always there for me when I was having problems at work. My deepest sympathies to the entire family. God Bless, Terri Poerner Niece
