Obituary of Jill Marnell Unangst George

Jill Marnell George, 60, of Oxford, NJ, formerly of Washington, NJ, passed away peacefully at Warren Haven Nursing Facility on September 10, 2013. Born on August 3, 1953 in Phillipsburg, NJ. She was the daughter of late Stewart R. and Evelyn Josephine Hill Unangst. She was a 1971 graduate of Warren Hills High School. She was employed by Van Waters and Rogers of Houston, TX as a buyer. She enjoyed gardening, boating, camping, skiing, ceramics, sewing and crafting. But of all things, she enjoyed her family the most. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Washington, NJ. Jill is survived by her loving husband Byron, her daughters Jamie Sillett,her partner Jamie Hall, Jodie Tiger and her husband Lloyd , both of Washington, a brother Jake and his wife Marcie Unangst of Washington, NJ, a brother Todd and his wife Diane Unangst, of Washington NJ, a sister Joyce Mowder of Oxford, NJ, a sister Claire MacIntyre, of Manahawkin, NJ, a sister Evelyn Hanson and her husband Otto of Venice FL, a sister Jackie Unangst, of Columbia, NJ, a sister Kathy Unangst,and companion Barry Slack of Phillipsburg, NJ, and a sister Cheryl and her husband Carmen Leggio of Washington, NJ. A sister, Gwen and her husband David Burdge of Washington NJ, a sister, Kimberly and her husband Pete Merluzzi, of Washington NJ. She is also survived by three grandchildren Alexis, Brianna, and Logan. Preceded in death by a brother Stewart "Bud" Unangst. Visitation will be held Friday September 13, 2013 from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm at DeVoe Funeral Service 136 W. Washington Ave. Washington NJ 07882. Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 14, 2013 at 10 am at the United Methodist Church 116 E. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882 .
