Obituary of Bernard Bernie Philhower

Bernard “Bernie” Philhower, 56 Glen Gardner, NJ, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at his home. He was born on January 29, 1952 in Phillipsburg, NJ the son of the late Robert Luther Philhower and the late Gloria C. Fleming Radcliff and stepson of the late Robert F. Radcliff. He was an Auto Body Technician at J&D Auto body in Washington, NJ. Bernie was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, and skeet shooting and gardening. He was a member of the NRA and the Changewater Mountain Gun Club. Bernie most of all enjoyed spending time with his loving family. Survivors: Bernie is survived by his wife, Roxann (nee- Weaver) of Glen Gardner; his daughter, Autumn Marie Philhower; his son Travis Carl Philhower both of Glen Gardner, NJ; two sisters, Bonnie Radcliff Popinko and her husband Charles David of Glen Gardner, NJ and Linda Philhower Pfeil and her husband Ronald of Prosper, TX a niece Jillian Elizabeth Magyar and a nephew Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Pfeil of Frisco, TX and a grand nephew Hayden Pfeil. Services: Visitation will be held at DeVoe Funeral Service 136 W. Washington Ave., Washington on Wednesday June 25, 2008 from 10 am to 11 am. Immediately following will be a funeral service at 11:00 am at DeVoe Funeral Services, Inc., 136 W. Washington Ave. NJ 07882 Interment will be at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton, NJ.
