Obituary of Joseph Stasi

Joseph Stasi, 76, of Belvidere, passed away at the home of his daughter on February 25, 2008. Born January 6, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Vincent and Antionette (nee: Paragone) Stasi. Joseph was an automobile mechanic for UPS in Queens, NY. Military: He was in the armed forces serving during the Korean War. Memberships: He was a member of the American Legion in Belvidere. He was an active member of the Brookfield Retirement Community. Survivors: Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Anne (nee: Annunziata) Stasi of Belvidere. Three sons, Vincent Stasi and his wife Roseanne; Joseph Stasi; and Robert Stasi and his wife Antionette all of Staten Island, NY. One daughter, Patricia Aversa and her husband Salvatore of Milford, NJ. One brother Vincent Stasi and a sister, Rita Sgroi both of Long Island, NY. He is predeceased by his sister, Grace Bisconti. Also surviving Joseph, are his seven grandchildren. Joseph will be missed deeply by his loving family. Services: Friends may call on Thursday, February 28, 2008 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and again from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc., 136 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 29, 2008 at St. Patrick’ Catholic Church, Belvidere. Interment will be in HG Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, PA.
