Obituary of Adele Visser

Adele Elizabeth Williams Visser, 92, of Vineland, N.J., formerly of Bangor, died Saturday, January 14, 2006, in Bishop McCarthy Nursing Home, Vineland. Born October 31, 1913 in Jersey City, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Tessie Woody Williams. Her husband, the late Frank Charles Visser, died in 1992. They were married November 23, 1936. She lived in Vineland for 10 years. Before her marriage, she worked as a child care worker and housekeeper in Jersey City. Memberships: She was a member of Calvary Community Church, in Harmony, N.J. Survivors: She is survived by her children, Claire Hann, and her husband, Richard, of Vineland, Shirley Ehrenberg, and her husband, Kurt, of Payson, Ariz. Franklin Theodore, and his wife, Ruth, of Tobyhanna, Pa., and Evelyn June Mohr, and her husband, Jeffrey, of Alpha; a brother, Allison Williams, of Camden, N.J.; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces, Audrey Ridner, and her husband, Fred, Edna Riggs, all of Hinesville, Ga.; and many other nieces and nephews. Two sons, George and Jon Charles; a brother, Clifford; and an infant sister, all died earlier. Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday in the DeVoe Funeral Service, 136 W. Washington Avenue, Washington, N.J. Visitation 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday. Interment will be in Newton Cemetery, Newton, N.J.
