Obituary of Andre DeMund

Andre C. DeMund, 67, went home to the Lord who loves him very much on Sunday, July 6, 2008. He resided in Mt. Bethel, PA. Andre was born on February 2, 1941 in Delaware, NJ the son of the late Charles and the late Mildred (O'Hare) DeMund. He was the loving husband of Barbara (Wilson) DeMund. He was employed by the NJ Department of Transportation in Columbia, NJ for 7 ½ years, retiring in 2006. Andre enjoyed fishing and watching Nascar. Survivors: Along with his wife of 37 years, Barbara DeMund of Mt. Bethel, PA he is survived by his three daughters, Denise and her husband Chris Clause of Stroudsburg, PA, Lisa Dunbar of Columbia, NJ, Stacy and her husband Bill Mason of Moscow, PA; a son Andre DeMund, Jr. of TX; a daughter-in-law, Amanda DeMund of Mt. Bethel, PA; six granddaughters, Amanda, Kelly and Tiffany Culleny and Nicole Bailey, Marissa Mason, Aliyah DeMund; a grandson, Kyle Culleny; two brothers, Maurice and his wife Gwen DeMund and Pierre DeMund; a sister Susann and her husband Tom Seng; a brother-in-law Harold and his wife Marty Wilson; two nieces & three nephews. He will be missed dearly by his family and many friends, especially Tony Wood. Along with his parents, Andre was predeceased by his son Craig DeMund. Services: A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 12:30 pm at Hainesburg Cemetery, Rt. 94, Knowlton Twp. A memorial service will be held immediately following the graveside service at 2:00 at the Washington Assembly of God Church, Washington, NJ.
