Obituary of Rita Murphy

Rita Murphy, 79, formerly of Washington, NJ, went to meet her Lord, on Friday, March 14, 2008 at Rolling Hills Nursing Home, Clinton Township, NJ. Rita was employed by American Can as a Quality Control Inspector until her retirement in 1988. Rita was born May 2, 1928 in Lowell, MS, to the late Leon and the late Cecile (Ducharme) Lemery. She was predeceased by her husband Harry in 1972 and a brother, Raymond Lemery. Military: Rita proudly served during World War II in the Air Force. Memberships:She was a former member of the Washington Moose Lodge. Survivors: Rita is survived by her son and his wife, Richard and Betsy Laferriere of Washington, NJ; a daughter Lurena Laferriere of Washington, NJ; her sister-in-law, Lurena Lemery of Hudson, NH; a niece Linda Robinson of Amherst, NH and a grandson Tristan, Services: A private service will be held at the family's convenience.
