Obituary of Helen DeHaas

Helen DeHaas, 71 passed away on March 8, 2008 at Easton Hospital. She had been a lifetime resident of Washington, NJ. Helen was born on April 28, 1936 to the late Elwood and the late Rose (Snook) Trowbridge. Helen was an avid animal lover. She especially enjoyed feeding the birds and spending time with her loving family. She had been employed by Treitler Owens, Washington Township, as a machine operator and supervisor, retiring in 2002. She was predeceased by her son, Jacob DeHaas, two brothers Elwood and George, and two sisters Anne and Elizabeth “Betty”. Survivors: She is survived by Harvey Reese her companion of 27 years, of Washington, NJ; her son William and his wife, Sharon DeHaas of Washington, NJ, 4 grandchildren, Amber, Melissa, Nicole, Ashley, Cory and 2 greatgrandchildren, Andrew, Hanna. Services: Interment will be private at the family’s convenience. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeVoe Funeral Services, Inc., 136 W.
