Obituary of Warren Perry

Warren B. Perry, 80, of Lebanon Township, NJ, passéd away on Friday, June 13, 2008 at his home with his family by his side. Warren was born on July 21, 1927 in Irvington, NJ a son of the late Richard and the late Muryl E. (Obner). Perry proudly served after World War II from Oct. 4, 1945 to Oct. 30, 1949 in the Army as a photographer. Warren married Helen Heiligenstein on May 21, 1960 and raised a family together. Warren was employed as an electrician with the IBEW #52/164. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Association of Blauvelt Descendents, the American Legion Post 103, Washington, NJ, the Steuben Society of America Pastorius Unit, Philadelphia, PA, along with several German-American Clubs. Survivors: Along with his loving wife, Helen, of Lebanon Township, he is survived by his two sons, James W. Perry and his wife Dawn, of Weyers Cave, VA and Frederick S. Perry and his wife Kelly, of Somerset, MA; and his adoring grandchildren Daniel, Nathaniel, Eric & Alison. Services: Visitation will be on Monday from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc., 136 West Washington Ave, Washington. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am. Friends and family may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.devoefuneral.com. Interment will be Tuesday at 11:00 in Spruce Run Cemetery, Lebanon Twp..
