Obituary of Frank Eisley III

Frank Eisley III, age 69, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed suddenly at his home on Monday, October 12, 2020. Born September 11, 1951 in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Frank Eisley Jr. and the late Amelia (Young) Eisley.

Frank was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School and went on to work as a Correctional Officer for Warren County Department of Corrections.  Frank was a member of Warren County’s Special Emergency Response Team and the Training Officer for several years. Frank achieved the rank of Sergeant before retiring in May of 2009.

An avid outdoorsman, Frank was a community volunteer for over twenty years with the Phillipsburg Youth Program “PAL”.   

A devoted family man, Frank will be forever missed by his loving wife, Lee Ann (Matlock) Eisley of Phillipsburg, NJ; two sons, Frank Eisley IV and his wife Melissa of North Carolina, Paul Eisley and his wife Cheryl of Easton, PA; grandchildren, Damon, Gage, and Chelsea; great grandchildren, Reese and Christian; many other nieces, nephews, sister in laws, brother in laws, friends and colleagues. Also survivng are his beloved dogs, Cheyenne and Dakota.

Relatives and friends may gather with the family on Thursday October 15, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service 142 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service will be offered on Friday October 16, at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Summerfield Cemetery. We ask all those who will be attending, to please follow all COVID-19 precautions and require masks at all times inside the funeral home.
