Obituary of Thomas Churchill Langhorne, III

Thomas Churchill Langhorne III, age 57, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, in Newton, NJ.  Born May 13, 1965, in Summit, NJ, he was the son of Astrid Langhorne and the late Thomas Churchill Langhorne II.

Thomas grew up in Millburn, NJ, and was a 1983 graduate of Millburn High School.  He continued his education at Fairleigh Dickinson University where he earned his bachelor's degree in 1992. Thomas raised two children; Nicholas and Natalie, whom he adored.

Thomas was an avid sports fan, especially New York sports teams. In his free time, he enjoyed coaching his son's sports teams. He also enjoyed listening to all "Rock n' Roll" music.  He loved spending time by the ocean, especially Long Beach Island, which was his happy place.

Thomas is survived by his beloved children, Nicholas Langhorne and Natalie Langhorne; mother, Astrid Langhorne; brother, Andrew Langhorne, and his wife Dina; mother of his children, Pattie Langhorne; and several nieces and nephews.

Thomas is predeceased by his father, Thomas Churchill Langhorne II.

A service will be held on Saturday, January, 28th, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service located at 142 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07869. His burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Thomas' name can be made toward a memorial bench on LBI in his honor.
