Angelo Nunez

Obituary of Angelo Nunez

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Angelo Nunez, 59, on November 25, 2024. Born in Newark, New Jersey, to Luba Nunez and the late Alfredo Nunez, Angelo graduated from Essex Catholic High School in 1983.

Angelo was a dedicated professional, working at Radiant Global Logistics as the Director of Systems Applications and Products. His career was a source of pride, but his greatest joy came from being a devoted husband, father, and friend.

Angelo married his beloved wife, Jodi Rosenblum-Nunez, on April 28, 2002. Together, they raised two wonderful daughters, Sabrina and Bridgain, who were the center of his world. Angelo's love and support for his daughters knew no bounds. Whether it was capturing every moment with his camera or cheering on his daughters at softball games and cheerleading competitions, Angelo was always present, always proud, and always their biggest fan.

Angelo was a passionate sports fan, especially when it came to the New York Giants. He was also an avid lover of Disney and could often be found enjoying his favorite video games, immersed in the action, with his spirited commentary filling the room.

At home, Angelo was surrounded by the love of his family and his cherished pets. He had a special bond with his dog, Mambo, and his recent office companion, Sabrina’s pet leopard-spotted gecko, named Apollo, who was often by his side as he worked from home.

Angelo was a parishioner at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Washington, New Jersey, where he found spiritual comfort and community.

In addition to his beloved wife of 22 years and daughters, Angelo is survived by his mother, Luba Nunez, sister Michelle Malanga and her husband Jerry, brother Daniel Nunez and his wife Jennifer, nephew Michael Malanga and his fiancé Gina, nephew Joseph Malanga, as well as many aunts, uncles, and extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alfredo Nunez, and uncles Alex Milintschuk and Wes Milintschuk.

A memorial gathering of family and friends to celebrate Angelo’s life will be held at Knoll- DeVoe Funeral Home and Cremation Service on December 28th, 2024 from 12pm until 4pm. Following the visitation a Catholic Prayer Service will be held at 4pm. Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home and Cremation Service, located at 142 West Washington Avenue, Washington, New Jersey, 07882.
